Sam joined the team at Q Paediatrics in 2013 after completing his Master of Physiotherapy studies at the University of Canberra. Sam has a strong interest in working with children, with a background in swimming which has included work as a Learn to Swim and Swim Squad instructor. This passion for helping children continued through his university studies, where he completed a paediatric placement working with children of all ages and with a range of conditions including cerebral palsy, DCD, autism spectrum disorders and Down syndrome.
Sam has delivered our Hard Core Kids® program for many years out of our Sherwood site and our new Indooroopilly location. Over this time Sam has developped a keen interest in assisting children with developmental delays and Autistic Spectrum Disorder reach their physical potential and foster enjoyment of physical activity.
Sam is excited to be involved in building the paediatric services provided at our Camp Hill clinic, which offers both individual, group and class based physiotherapy services. In his spare time, Sam enjoys travelling, honing his photography skills and staying fit by cycling, swimming and running.
