Robyn Sims provides a private practice occupational therapy service to the western suburbs of Brisbane through clinic sessions as well as home and school visits to children from 2 to 18 years.
Since graduating from the University of Queensland in 1994 her therapy background has included working with children and families within different clinical and community settings, with a particular focus on learning difficulties, self-regulation, sensory processing challenges, management at school and handwriting skills.
Having three children of her own, Robyn understands the importance of working cohesively with the family and educators of children who participate in OT sessions.
Robyn is registered to provide sessions under the following funding programs:
- Helping Children with Autism
- Better Start
Medicare supported programs: Chronic Disease Management (CDM, previously ECP) and Better Access to Mental Health

Robyn is also a Co-Director of “Magnetic Moves…solutions for a sensory world”.
Within this role she has been a partner in the creation of interactive routine charts for children to help foster independence in children and calm within the household. Robyn has also co-authored a book “Ben’s school daze….a story of being overwhelmed in a sensory world” and she regularly presents workshops about sensory processing and children’s behaviour.
