Brooke completed her Master of Physiotherapy at Griffith University, after completing her Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science (Hons I) at the University of Queensland.
Brooke has always had a passion for working with children, following ten years coaching cheer and dance teams. She has ample experience working with children with cerebral palsy, accompanied by a keen interest working with children with ASD, down syndrome, developmental delay, hypermobility syndromes, juvenile idiopathic arthritis and sporting injuries. Brooke has worked confidently through the NDIS for a number of years and prescribed a variety of equipment, including manual wheelchairs, walkers and standing frames.
Brooke is close to completing her PhD, where she is evaluating the effects of a goal-directed exercise program in children who have survived brain tumours. Brooke is passionate about providing innovative and evidence-based physiotherapy interventions for children of all abilities to achieve their goals through fun, supportive and family-centred care.
